Why this film is free to watch
It was published in 1928. In the United States, films published in 1930 or earlier are now in the public domain, so they belong to everyone.
It is a silent film: the story is told in pictures and title cards. Haukley plays it as it was released, so some copies have a music track and some play in silence.
