How revenue works
Every ad is tracked to your film.
Each ad request carries your film's ID, so the ad server reports revenue title by title — not averaged across the whole service. You get a monthly report with views, ad impressions, net ad revenue and your share.
1. Viewers watch free
Short ad breaks play before and during your film, like broadcast TV.
2. Ads are attributed
Every impression is logged against the film it ran in, on every platform.
3. You get paid
50% of net ad revenue, within 60 days of month end ($25 minimum; smaller balances roll forward).
What we're looking for
Features, docs, series and shorts.
All genres, with a special eye for thriller, horror, mystery, crime, drama, documentary and comedy. You need to own or control the U.S. digital rights, including music.
Deliverables
A high-quality master (ProRes or high-bitrate H.264), closed captions (SRT or SCC), a 2:3 poster and 16:9 key art without text. A trailer if you have one.
Formats
Features (60+ min), documentaries, series and pilots. Shorts under 40 minutes are grouped into collections.
Response time
We reply to every submission within 30 days, whether or not it's a fit.

Filmmaker questions
Is there any cost to me?
No. There's no submission fee, setup fee or encoding fee. Haukley earns from its half of the ad revenue.
Can my film be on other platforms too?
Yes. The license is non-exclusive — keeping your film on Tubi, Prime Video, YouTube or anywhere else is fine.
How is "net ad revenue" calculated?
It's the ad revenue actually received for ads served during your film, minus ad-serving and ad-network fees. Ad inventory a platform keeps for itself (for example Roku's share) earns nothing and isn't counted.
When and how do I get paid?
Monthly, within 60 days of month end, with a per-title report. Balances under $25 roll forward to the next month.
What rights do I need?
You must own or control the U.S. digital distribution rights to the film, including all music, footage, artwork and talent releases.
How do I remove my film?
Email films@haukley.com. We remove it within 30 days of your notice.
